যারা আল্লাহর পথে নিহত হয়, তোমরা তাদেরকে মৃত বলোনা

হে ঐ সমস্ত লোকেরা, যারা ঈমান এনেছো ! তোমরা সবর করো এবং সালাত দ্বারা সাহায্য শক্তি অর্জন করো । নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ সবরকারীদের সাথে থাকেন । যারা "ফি সাবিলিল্লাহ"

আল্লাহর পথে নিহত হয়, তোমরা তাদেরকে মৃত বলোনা; প্রকৃত পক্ষে তারা জীবিত । কিন্তু তোমরা তা বুঝতে পারো না । আর অবশ্য অবশ্যই আমি তোমাদের পরীক্ষা নেবো ভয় ভীতি দিয়ে, ক্ষুধা অনাহার দিয়ে এবং অর্থ সম্পদ, যান প্রান ও ফল ফসলের ক্ষয় ক্ষতি দিয়ে । তবে সুসংবাদ দাও, 'সবর' অবলম্বনকারীদের । যারা বিপদ মুসিবতে আক্রান্ত হলে বলেঃ নিশ্চয়ই আমরা আল্লাহর এবং নিচশয়ই আমরা তারই কাছে ফিরে যাবো । এরা সেই সব লোক, যাদের প্রতি তাদের প্রভুর পক্ষ থেকে বর্ষিত হয় ক্ষমা ও করুনা এবং রহমত । আর তারাই হেদায়েত প্রাপ্ত ।

O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient. And do not say, about those who are killed in the way of Allah, "They are dead" Rather they are alive, but you perceive it not. And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth, and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient. Who when disaster strikes them, say, " Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return." Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the rightly guided.
